About Open Project
Efficiently plan, steer, and communicate within your projects. With open source and open mind.
OpenProject is free and open source software for project management with a wide set of features and plugins and an active international community.
That’s the description from their site, and from the looks of things the actual software looks pretty good. What’s more is that they actively encourage contributions to the project.
There is pretty good contributions guidelines page as well if you want to get involved.
Licensing
OpenProject is licensed under the GPL version 3.
Let’s be honest
I really liked OpenProject – while I didn’t dive deep, the demo that they provide you with is simple to setup, clean to navigate through, and seems pretty easy to get used to.
If you want to use OpenProject, it is built primarily in Ruby.
